Good ol Sleep Hygiene!
I saw this important post and couldn’t help but ask @monica if I could repost here! I feel like getting sufficient restful sleep has become somewhat of a lofty goal in my life; and, given how fundamental sleep is to our overall health and well-being, this is something that simply needs to change. Below are some great reminders of how we can improve our sleep! ?

Sleep is critical for our emotional, mental and physical well-being. Lack of sleep has been linked to illness, obesity, mood issues, and reduced immunity.
Good sleep hygiene includes…
⏰ Establishing a regular sleep schedule, including on weekends.
? Keeping your bedroom dark, cool and quiet.
⏱ Sleeping for enough hours (7-8 is the average amount needed for adults).
? Keep electronics out of the bedroom. This includes your computer, TV screens and phones.
??♀️Make exercise a regular part of your daily routine, but not too close to bedtime.
? Reduce or eliminate the use of caffeine, stimulants, alcohol and cigarettes.
☀️ Get some sunlight exposure during the day.
? Don’t eat heavy meals before bed.
Always so great to have these reminders!
